MALICIOUS ONSLAUGHT (USA/NY)

Malicious Onslaught formed in 1986 in Rockland County, NY by brothers, guitarist/vocalist Ted Hanauer and bassist Robert Hanauer. They were most likely the first death metal band to form in Rockland County. They released a slew of demos and only two full-length albums. The albums were Rebellious Mayhem was released in 1992 and Brutal Gore was released in 1994. They had a respectable following in Europe and went into obscurity by 1995. Robert Hanauer hanged himself in 1995. The band did go on without Robert, however they only played a few live shows and they were not really active. Ted Hanauer finally gave up re-grouping Malicious Onslaught for good in the 2000's
